Martin Scorsese has produced many great films like Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, The Wolf of Wall Street but there are also some of his masterpieces as well which didn’t get the recognition they deserved and After Hours is top on that list.
After Hours is a story of a word processor named Paul Hackett played by Griffin Dunne. He meets Marcy played by Rossana Arquette at a coffee shop one night. Later that night, when Paul calls Marcy, she invites him for a date at her friends’ house. Paul agrees and says he will be there in 45 minutes. And that begins the ordeal of the worst night of Paul’s life. He goes through some unpleasant experiences like being broke for the entire night to chased down by a mob who wants to kill him for a crime that he didn’t commit. There are various such moments in the film when you feel sorry for Paul who is desperately trying to reach back his home, but the events included in all this scenario are so bizarre that it keeps you glued to screen with a bit of humor attached to each scene.

After Hours is an immensely enjoyable film, which you can watch multiple times and cannot get bored. It is a film where many situations arise which very unlikely to happen in a certain individual’s life, but due to an authentic treatment to the film, it looks relatable, entertaining as well as unique. Though the film did not work well at the time of its release but in the past years, it has garnered an audience and has gained a cult status.

This sacral chakra healing music is designed to help you unblock, and balance your sacral chakra. The sacral chakra is the second of the seven chakras. It acts as a crucial connection enhancing our emotional, creative, and intimate energy. It builds upon the foundation of the root chakra; it is the vital platform for the emotional balance and creativity required for personal evolution.

Human behavior is further stimulated by a sequence of emotional and intimate experiences. These are the essential, psychosocial desires for pleasure, creativity, and the need to feel and express emotions. Once these emotional and creative needs are satisfied, the need for harmonious relationships and connections becomes prominent. This includes the desire for shared experiences, emotional intimacy, and mutual understanding. These needs are reflected in our interpersonal interactions and in the instinct for emotional expression and creative fulfillment that seeks to enrich life. In a physiological sense, it is connected to and supports the reproductive system and procreation process. In a psychological and spiritual sense, the sacral chakra is tied to creation and the birthing of new ideas and experiences.

Sacral chakra properties:
- Location: Below the navel; the perineum
- Element: Water
- Color: Orange
- Symbolism: Creativity, emotion, and intimacy
- Function: Facilitates emotional balance, creativity, and intimate energy
- Mantra: VAM

Underactive Symptoms:
- Low energy or enthusiasm
- Lack of creativity and imagination
- Feelings of isolation, detachment, or disconnection from others
- Repressed or inhibited emotions and intimacy

Overactive Symptoms:
- Overindulgence in physical pleasures or addictions
- Oversensitivity to emotions, leading to mood swings
- Overactive libido and unhealthy fixation on intimate thoughts
- Narcissistic tendencies or excessive focus on one's own feelings and desires
- Impulsive and emotionally volatile

Balanced:
- Feeling emotionally balanced and open to experiences
- Appropriate and harmonious expression of emotions and creativity
- A sense of interconnectedness and mutual understanding with others
- A healthy acceptance and expression of intimate energy
- Patient and adaptable in dealing with emotions
- Efficient in managing creative projects
- Consistent energy levels for physical and creative activities

Balancing the sacral chakra is a vital progression on the path to enlightenment; the sacral chakra, or Svadhisthana, represents the awakening of emotional and creative energies. While it's beneficial to work towards harmonizing each chakra, it's essential to remember that this process isn't about achieving an ideal state in each energy center before proceeding to the next. Our chakras are interconnected, and energy flows between them, suggesting that imbalances are typically interrelated. Focusing on one chakra can induce shifts in others.

Spiritual growth is a journey, not a destination. It's about ongoing self-discovery, healing, and growth. As you progress, you may find yourself returning to previously balanced chakras as new layers of healing and understanding emerge. Essentially, the path to enlightenment is about comprehensive balance and harmony among all chakras, not absolute completion in each individual one. A balanced sacral chakra stimulates the fluidity of emotional and creative energies, contributing to the upward flow of the dormant Kundalini energy through the seven chakras as spiritual development proceeds.

The concept of chakras is deeply rooted in ancient Hindu scriptures known as the Vedas, written in Sanskrit between 1500 and 500 BCE. While the Rigveda, one of the four Vedas, alludes to energy centers within the body, it does not depict the seven-chakra system familiar to us today. Further exploration of energy channels, or nadis, is found in the Upanishads. The seven-chakra system, as we recognize it today, is more explicitly detailed in the tantric texts that surfaced around 600 CE, such as the Sat-Cakra-Nirupana and the Padaka-Pancaka. These texts detail each chakra's location, function, associated deity, and more. Emphasizing the individual's experiential and ritualistic connection with the cosmos, tantra played a pivotal role in shaping our current understanding of the chakra system.

Sensory deprivation tanks, also known as isolation tanks or float tanks, are lightproof and soundproof tanks filled with water that's saturated with magnesium sulfate. Sensory deprivation tanks are designed to cut off nearly all external stimuli, leading to deep relaxation and a unique sensory experience. Without regular sensory input, the brain sometimes creates its own, which can lead to hallucinations. These can be visual, auditory, or tactile.

I've created this sensory deprivation tank simulation in order to try to replicate this experience for people who don't have the access to one nearby, or are unable to cover the expenses to use it. Buying your own can be costly (typically between $2000 and $30000), and each session costs $30 to $150 on average. I wanted to try to give people a glimpse of what it could be like, but mimicking something like this is very difficult to do accurately. I also wanted to experiment, and try new video production techniques to improve my skills.

Without the usual external stimuli, the mind begins to drift, similar to the moments right before sleep. One of the most immediate and noticeable effects is profound relaxation. It can help decrease cortisol levels, the body's primary stress hormone. Some people report improved clarity of thought or breakthroughs in personal or professional challenges. In the absence of external distractions, one can have profound insights, reflections, and even moments of epiphany. For people interested in meditation and mindfulness, this can be a game-changer.

To get the most out of this video, you should attempt to reduce stimulation to your other senses and reduce the likelihood of distractions as much as possible.

Sight: Turn off the lights, or wear an eye mask.

Touch: Get comfortable! Whether that's sitting in a comfortable position or ideally lying down.

Hearing: Turn off anything nearby that emits a sound. Headphones are recommended, but not required.

Smell: Ensure there are no smells that could distract you or light your favorite incense or candle.

Breathing: Deep breath in, hold it, and release. Steady, controlled breathing until you find your rhythm.

Taste: Hydrate yourself with water. This will reduce any stimulation to your tastebuds through dilution.

These suggestions are optional but recommended. However, if you can do all of these things, it will improve your experience. Enjoy! 🙏

A fractal zoom reveals and illustrates the concept of the infinite in a way that is easier for our human brains to understand. These mathematical constructs contain intricate, mesmerizing patterns that repeat endlessly – each level of magnification unveiling new details that mirror the whole. As you keep zooming deeper, fractals offer a unique window into understanding infinity, making the abstract concept tangible through their never-ending repetition of patterns. This visual journey through the Mandelbrot fractal and other fractal patterns does more than demonstrate mathematical principles – it evokes a profound sense of wonder about the limitless complexity woven into the fabric of our universe.

In nature, we see fractal patterns everywhere. Even our bodies contain fractal patterns. What I find most compelling is how these fractal patterns often represent optimal solutions that evolution has discovered. They tend to maximize efficiency – whether it's for distributing nutrients, gathering sunlight, or providing structural stability. Nature seems to have utilized fractal patterns as an elegant solution to complex problems of growth and resource distribution. The fact that the same patterns keep appearing – in our neural networks, circulatory system, in mycelial networks, and many more examples – suggests these aren't coincidences but rather optimal solutions that emerge naturally.

There's also a deeper philosophical implication about scale and perspective. Fractal patterns challenge our intuitive notions about size and importance. In a fractal, you can zoom in endlessly and find new worlds of complexity at every level. The most mind-bending implication might be about the nature of infinity itself. Fractals are a great visual aid for demonstrating that finite space can contain infinite detail.

The hierarchical structure of consciousness also suggests fractal-like organization. From basic sensory awareness to higher-order metacognition, each level of consciousness seems to build on and reflect aspects of other levels. Our thoughts contain sub-thoughts, memories reference other memories, and our awareness can recursively examine itself (we can think about thinking about thinking). Even the way our neural networks are organized shows fractal-like patterns. The brain's structure exhibits self-similarity across different scales, from individual neurons to larger neural networks. This physical structure might reflect the fractal nature of conscious experience itself.

Emotional awareness shows an even more intricate fractal structure. Take anxiety as an example: You might feel anxious, become aware of feeling anxious, feel anxious about feeling anxious, become aware of that meta-anxiety, feel frustrated about being caught in this loop, become aware of that frustration... Each emotional state generates its own pattern of awareness and branching emotions, creating infinite complexity from simple initial conditions.

This model might also explain why mindfulness practices can be so powerful. When we observe our thoughts and emotions without judgment, we're essentially stepping back to see the larger pattern – like zooming out to appreciate its overall structure. This perspective can help break recursive loops of negative thinking by recognizing them as patterns. Each choice reverberates through multiple layers of awareness, each adding its own emotional and intuitive components to the final outcome.

I'll be uploading many more fractal zoom videos, you can find them here: https://www.youtube.com/playli....st?list=PL0kJgNPfmys

LET GO Of Fear, Overthinking And Worries - Cleanse All Negative Energy. This meditation works great for me personally, and I hope it does for you too.

The process of letting go of fear, overthinking, and worries, coupled with the act of cleansing negative energy through meditation, is profoundly beneficial on multiple levels. At its core, engaging in such practices has a profound impact on mental health and well-being. When individuals constantly ruminate on fears or engage in excessive overthinking, they often find themselves in a state of chronic stress. This not only clouds judgment, leading to impaired decision-making but also exacerbates various physical health problems and mental disorders. Conversely, by releasing these fears and worries, you can reduce stress, enhance mental clarity, and break the self-perpetuating cycles of negative thinking.

The act of letting go helps individuals build resilience. By facing and releasing fears, individuals often find themselves becoming more emotionally robust over time. This process not only creates space for more positive emotions like joy, gratitude, and love to flourish but also heightens self-awareness and personal growth.

Releasing negative energies can lead to a deepened connection to the universe, a higher power, or your inner self. Many believe that these energies act as barriers, and by letting them go, you can achieve a profound sense of inner peace, grounding, and centeredness. Additionally, this practice encourages being present in the moment, a fundamental tenet of many spiritual teachings.

In terms of interpersonal relations, a person with a clear and peaceful mind is naturally better equipped to understand and empathize with others. They become less reactive, leading to healthier interpersonal dynamics and more frequent engagements in compassionate and kind actions towards others.

I can't express how grateful I am to see how many of you are enjoying this! There's a playlist for this series if you'd like to check out more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnuRHmxHMQQ&list=PL0kJgNPfmys_AuxjQ6zmwjkSy9e6ZBPep&index=1

This third eye chakra healing music is designed to help you unblock your third eye chakra. The third eye chakra (or Ajna) is the sixth of the seven chakras.

At its core, the third eye chakra governs how we perceive the world. It's not just about what we see but how we interpret and understand it. The third eye allows one to see beyond the physical, surface-level reality, helping discern underlying truths and patterns. This allows you to peel back the layers of perception, providing deeper insights into your existence.

Some of the common illusions many people struggle with relate to their self-perception, self-imposed obfuscations, and false axioms. The third eye assists in stripping away these illusions, promoting self-reflection, self-awareness, and facilitating genuine personal development. It also aids in pragmatic aspects of clarity and critical thinking. When faced with conflicting information or deceptive appearances, an open third-eye chakra can help individuals see through the confusion and make decisions rooted in truth.

Third eye chakra properties:

Creativity often involves venturing into the unknown, exploring concepts and ideas that might not be mainstream or widely accepted. The third eye chakra facilitates this exploration, helping individuals bridge the gap between the familiar and the unfamiliar, bringing forth new ideas and perspectives.

In Hindu philosophy, the world we see is often described as "Maya" or illusion. Maya can be thought of as the superficial reality where individuals get caught up in the material and transient aspects of life. The third eye chakra encourages seeing beyond this Maya, recognizing the eternal and unchanging reality underneath.

Balancing the third eye chakra is an essential part of the path to enlightenment. While it's beneficial to work towards balancing each chakra, it's crucial to remember that this process isn't about achieving perfection at each energy center before moving on to the next. Our chakras are interconnected, and energy flows between them, meaning imbalances are often interconnected too. By focusing on one chakra, shifts can occur in others.

Spiritual growth is a journey, not a destination. It's about continuous self-discovery, healing, and growth. As you advance, you will revisit chakras that once felt balanced as new layers of understanding and healing reveal themselves. Essentially, the path to enlightenment is about achieving equilibrium and harmony among all chakras, not achieving absolute completion in each one.
