Homemade Aromatic and Tasty Garlic Chili Oil from Scratch Filipino Style

Garlic Chili Oil is like a universal Asian condiments. It gives dimsum, soup, or any dishes a different level of taste and aroma. Siomai, dumplings, congee, pho and other stir-fry dishes won't be as good without Garlic Chili Oil.

Making this at home is like having gold handy in the kitchen. This also makes a perfect gift to friends who can appreciate asian cuisine.

*** Quick note, to further protect the oil from going rancid, store them in your fridge and bring out just enough for 3-5 days at a time. : )

*** All our dishes do not use msg and other artificial flavoring, except for ingredients that we cannot intentionally avoid. We are also avoiding artificial coloring on our dishes, especially on desserts. Our overall goal is to promote healthy cooking, focused only on whole and pure ingredients. :) HAPPY COOKING!

Oil Infusion:
2-3 star anise
5 bay leaves

1tbs coriander seeds
1tbs cardamom
3 1/2 cup coconut oil

2/3 cup crushed chili peppers
1/3 Korean chili powder (Amazon - https://amzn.to/3ilD7nA)
2 tbs shrimp paste
1tbs sugar

1 cup chopped garlic
